TWICE TOLD TRUTHS vol. 1

Throughout the gospels, Jesus adds emphasis to his teaching by announcing, truly, truly. The words can also be translated amen, amen, which were the words that the priests would use at the end of an interpretation of scripture, as a pronouncement of agreement. The amen, amen, validated the pronouncement as legitimate interpretation. Jesus begins his pronouncements with an amen, amen. He validates his words by His own authority. No affirmation is required. In this series, we will examine these pronouncements from Jesus, in a series we're calling "Twice Told Tales".
